How To Measure

1. Height

  • Measure your height in centimeters without shoes. It’s more accurate to measure your current height than to rely on past measurements, as your height can change over time.
  • If you are needing to take into account shoes with thick soles, the SmartCRUTCH leg assembly is telescopic and can be lengthened. If you are the very closetop of a height bracket and have thick soles on your shoes then select the next height bracket up as this bracket will go down lower than the indicated height minimum of this bracket.

2. Forearm Length

  • Always measure with your forearm bent, even if you won’t be using the SmartCRUTCH at that angle.
  • For the most accurate measurement, have someone help you measure the inside of your forearm, from your elbow crease to the last crease in your wrist (where your palm begins). Do not measure from your elbow.
  • Round down to the nearest whole number. Rounding up may result in ordering the wrong size.

3. Forearm Circumference

  • Measure the circumference of your forearm at the thickest part in centimeters.
  • For the most accurate measurement, use a exible measuring tape.
